recipe: banana bread


Preheat oven to 350* 

Peel and mash the bananas in medium bowl until they’re of baby-food consistency

Add sugar, melted butter & egg. Stir together until all ingredients are well mixed

In a separate {larger} bowl, stir together flour, salt & baking soda

Pour into prepared loaf pan {I swear by Le Creuset!} and bake at 350* for 60 minutes until knife or toothpick inserted into middle comes out clean

    Can't beat homemade banana bread, especially a toasted slice with a smear of butter! I love your counter tops…your kitchen looks so nice and bright! 🙂
