Holiday Cheer

We had such a fun time at Bluetique’s Holiday Wish List party last week that I just had to share some of the details! I was so reluctant to surrender my pumpkin spice lattes for peppermint mochas, but once I got the slightest taste of Christmas it was game over. I couldn’t wait to start decorating and the Holiday party gave me the perfect excuse to get into the spirit! I wore a silk Elizabeth McKay top with J. Crew’s Pixie Pant and loved the green hue of my top {it was perfectly festive!} I accessorized with classic pumps, my staple MICHELE watch and favorite Kendra Scott necklace.

For bites we served homemade treats and they were so delicious! It really felt like a Christmas dessert spread your grandmother would serve! For cocktails we made Jingle Juice {Vodka, Sprite and Grenadine} along with white wine and added fun red ribbon straws to finish them off. We decorated with traditional cedar and pine garland but added a touch of the south with magnolia leaves, branches, and burlap decor. I’d love to hear how you’re decorating for the holidays and any tips you might have for making it painless {hint: I use staples and floral wire to secure garland to moulding and mantels!}
