Setting The Table {Thanksgiving}

I just love Spode’s Woodland Turkey set and it’s my go to for putting together a Thanksgiving table. Aside from the Turkey motif, the warm colors are perfect and add a little fun. Because I love the look of a full Spode table setting, I like to accessorize with solids. Gold chargers are my go to {I use them for Christmas and New Years too!} and whites go perfectly with pretty much anything. Don’t forget to look for solids in fun and different elements {like these salt & pepper shakers and napkin rings} We use our Westbury flatware year round and it is so easy to dress up for dinner parties and holidays too. If you want to get extra fancy, go for gold {or gold like} flatware to match your chargers and add a little extra sparkle to your table! Don’t forget about your centerpieces. Aside from your settings, it might be the most important part of your table {besides the food, of course!} I love my Pottery Barn glass candle pillars because of their clean look, but they’re also great to fill. I use fall leaves and pine straw during the fall and when winter rolls around I fill them with berries and cotton balls {like snow!}

I’d love to hear your Thanksgiving decorating favorites and any tips you have on hosting for the holidays! Happy Feasting!
